Returning to a home we have never been to

We kicked off our Revival Still In Progress series in the book of Ezra with a foundational message from Pastor Thomas titled “Returning to a Home We Haven’t Been To” (Ezra 1:1–11).

In this message, we’re reminded that revival doesn’t start with us—it starts with God. Long before the people were ready to return from exile, God stirred the heart of a king and moved His people into action. He is the initiator of every return, every restoration, and every step toward home—even when it’s a home we’ve never truly known.

This isn’t just a physical return—it’s a spiritual one. And sometimes, the place God is calling us back to is more about presence than location.
