Lord Burden My Heart
In week six of our Revival Still In Progress series through Ezra–Nehemiah, Gabriel Hoff Jr. brings a passionate, inspiring, and burden-filled message from Nehemiah 1:1-11 titled “Lord, Burden My Heart”.
The book of Nehemiah begins with him receiving news about the state of the people in Jerusalem and the walls in Jerusalem. News explaining how the Israelites were dealing with trouble and shame, and news explaining the destruction and desolation of the walls and gates of Jerusalem. This burdens Nehemiah's heart, and he goes to the Lord in prayer and purposes in his heart to do something about this issue while submitting to the power and authority of the Lord. This burden God placed on His heart would lead him to do great things for God's people.
👉 Key Takeaways:
Have A Heart Burdened With Concern
Have A Heart Burdened To Pray
Have A Heart Burdened To Take Action
This message is call to all of us to ask God to place a burden on our hearts to be concerned with what He is concerned with. That before a great work is done through us, a great work must be done in us.
